Everything a Family Needs — Nothing They Don't
The brief for this Barden Ridge backyard was clear: a dedicated pool for serious swimming, enough space for the whole family, and a design that didn't overwhelm the yard. The 7m Narrow Compass X-Trainer in Bi-Luminite Quartz delivers all three — with a Beach Zone that turns what could have been a purely functional pool into a genuinely inviting family space.
The Narrow X-Trainer is a purpose-built solution for blocks where a standard 4.2m-wide pool would eat too much of the yard. At a slimmer profile, it preserves usable outdoor space without sacrificing the unobstructed swimming corridor that makes the X-Trainer the right choice for anyone who swims regularly. You still get the full 7-metre length. You just get more yard back.
Bi-Luminite Quartz is the most timeless colour in the Compass range — a clean, luminous off-white that keeps the water looking bright, inviting and endlessly fresh. It works with any outdoor palette, suits any style of home, and never looks dated. Combined with the Beach Zone's shallow, sun-warmed platform, the whole pool feels open and welcoming rather than utilitarian.
A self-cleaning pool featuring the Vantage in-floor cleaning system, installed inground in Barden Ridge by our team — from excavation to handover.

Slim Footprint, Full Experience
The Narrow X-Trainer proves that a smaller footprint doesn't mean a lesser pool. The Beach Zone adds a play and lounging dimension that transforms it from a lap pool into a true family pool. And in Bi-Luminite Quartz, it will look equally good on day one and a decade from now.
- Bi-Luminite Quartz — timeless, luminous off-white finish
- Narrow profile — preserves more usable yard space
- Unobstructed 7m swimming corridor for lap swimming
- Beach Zone — shallow entry platform for kids and lounging
- Step ledges at pool ends — safe rest zones for all ages
- Self-cleaning pool — features the Vantage in-floor cleaning system
- Compass Ceramic Core — vastly stronger than standard fibreglass
- Lifetime structural warranty (Bi-Luminite pools) — transferable up to 25 years
- 10-year enhanced cosmetic warranty
- World-exclusive hydrostatic damage protection
When the Block Is Tight and the Wish List Isn't
The Narrow X-Trainer was designed specifically for blocks where a standard-width pool would take up too much room. The slimmer profile reduces the footprint without reducing the length — so you keep the unobstructed swimming corridor, you keep the step ledges, you just get more yard back on the sides.
The Beach Zone is a shallow, gently sloping entry platform that extends from one end of the pool. It's warm, sunlit and ankle-to-knee deep — perfect for younger kids who aren't quite ready for the main pool, for adults who want to sit in the water without getting fully in, and for anyone who just wants a place to cool their feet on a summer afternoon. It's one of the most popular pool customisations we offer, and this installation shows exactly why.
Together, the Narrow format and Beach Zone make a pool that punches well above its footprint in terms of usability and family appeal.
