Can a plunge pool be installed above ground?
Yes — thanks to Compass's patented Maxi Rib technology, a fibreglass plunge pool can be installed inground, partially above ground or fully above ground. This makes them ideal for tight, sloping or difficult sites.
Are plunge pools deep enough to enjoy?
Plunge pools are designed to be extra-deep for their size — ideal for cooling off, aquatic exercise and relaxing on the bench seat. They offer a surprising amount of enjoyment for a compact pool.
Can I heat a plunge pool?
Yes — and because the water volume is smaller, plunge pools are generally cheaper to heat than a full-size pool. Many owners heat them for year-round use. You can also pair one with an Immersion Therapy Pod for hot and cold therapy.
Can a plunge pool be self-cleaning?
Yes — the Vantage self-cleaning system is available on Compass plunge pools, keeping maintenance and running costs low.
