Deep in the Centre, Shallow at Both Ends
The Contemporary has a distinctive profile: a deeper central zone with shallow areas at both ends. This makes it ideal for family fun and entertainment in the water — and perfect for pool games like volleyball, where you want depth in the middle and footing at the edges.
A symmetrical step layout at both ends means easy, safe entry from either side, and the shallow zones give children a secure place to play. For those who want something larger, the custom option lets you create a Contemporary up to 20m long.

Contemporary Pool Questions — Answered
Everything Sydney families ask us about the Compass Contemporary pool.
What sizes does the Contemporary come in?

Why is the Contemporary deep in the centre?

Very — the symmetrical shallow zones at both ends make it one of the most family-friendly shapes for play and entertainment, while still offering a deep central zone for adults to swim.
Can the Contemporary be self-cleaning?
Yes — the Vantage self-cleaning system is available, keeping the pool clean automatically and reducing maintenance and running costs.
Can I customise the Contemporary?
