Pools & Spas — Frequently Asked Questions
Everything Sydney homeowners ask us when choosing a fibreglass pool.
How many pool shapes do you offer?
We offer eight Compass fibreglass pool shapes — Sanctuary, Vogue, X-Trainer, Contemporary, Fastlane, Plunge, plus spas and our Express range — in sizes from a 2.85m plunge pool up to an 11.8m swimming pool.
Which pool shape is best for my backyard?
It depends on your space and how you'll use it. The X-Trainer and Sanctuary suit most families, the Fastlane is built for lap swimming, the Plunge fits small courtyards, and the Vogue and Contemporary make a design statement. We'll help you match the right shape during a free site inspection.
What's the difference between Bi-Luminite and Vivid colours?
Bi-Luminite is a premium 3D colour system with a sparkling, light-responsive finish and a lifetime structural warranty. Vivid colours are vibrant, single-layer finishes at a more affordable price point. Both look stunning — we'll show you samples in natural light at our showroom.
Can I add a spa or beach area to my pool?
Yes. Most of our pools can be paired with a spa, wader, beach entry, sunpod or water feature — joined as one design or kept separate — to create a complete outdoor living zone.
Are your fibreglass pools self-cleaning?
They can be. The optional Vantage in-floor cleaning system circulates and cleans the water automatically, so your pool stays clean with far less effort and fewer chemicals.
How long does a fibreglass pool take to install?
Because the shell is factory-made, installation is much faster than concrete. Timeframes depend on site access and council approvals — we'll give you a clear schedule with your quote.
What warranty comes with a Compass pool?
Every Compass pool comes with a triple warranty — structural, cosmetic and hydrostatic. Bi-Luminite pools get a lifetime structural warranty and 10-year cosmetic; Vivid pools get a 25-year structural warranty and 7-year cosmetic. Both include the world-first HydroPro hydrostatic warranty and are transferable up to 25 years.
Do you build across Sydney?
Yes — we build right across Greater Sydney's south, south-west and the Shire, from our Smeaton Grange showroom. See our serviced locations to find your region.
