Oran Park's Most Trusted Fibreglass Pool Installer
Oran Park is one of Sydney's most remarkable growth stories — a suburb that went from 195 residents in 2011 to over 26,000 today, built on the site of the former Oran Park Raceway. With thousands of new homes on generous blocks and a young, professional demographic who invest seriously in their outdoor spaces, it's become one of our most active areas for new pool installations.
We've completed multiple Compass pool installations in Oran Park — see our project gallery for examples including a Vogue 9.4 with X-Trainer Spa and beach area, an X-Trainer 7.2 in Pacific, and a Vogue 9.4 in Grey Marble. Every one of these pools is still owned by its original family, which is exactly what we aim for — pools that are still impressive and effortless to own a decade later.
Oran Park blocks tend to be well-proportioned for pool installation, with good access and relatively flat profiles. The suburb's modern construction standards mean we can typically plan and execute a pool project with minimal surprises. If you're at the planning stage of a new build or looking to add a pool to an established home, we'd love to talk.

Frequently Asked Questions — Pool Builder Oran Park
How long has Local Pools & Spas been building pools in Oran Park?
We've been building in the Oran Park area since the suburb's early development — and it's now one of our most active installation areas. Our base in nearby Smeaton Grange means fast turnaround and local knowledge that matters.
Do I need council approval to install a pool in Oran Park?
Yes — all new swimming pool installations in Oran Park require approval from Camden Council. Most standard residential pools qualify for a complying development certificate (CDC), which is faster than a full DA. We guide you through the process from start to finish.
What does a fibreglass pool cost in Oran Park?
Fibreglass pool pricing in Oran Park depends on pool shape, size, colour and site conditions. Entry-level Compass pools start from around $50,000 installed. New-build blocks in Oran Park are typically well-suited for installation — request a free quote and we'll give you a detailed on-site assessment.
What is the Vantage self-cleaning system and do I need it?
The Vantage system is Compass's exclusive in-floor cleaning technology. Water is pushed up from nozzles in the pool floor, circulating debris toward the skimmer automatically — no manual vacuuming, reduced chemical usage and more consistent water temperature. It's the most talked-about feature among our customers and a major reason Oran Park families choose Compass over other brands.
Can I see a Compass pool in person before deciding?
Yes — our display centre in Smeaton Grange is minutes from Oran Park. You can see real Compass pools in person, compare Bi-Luminite colours and talk through your project with our team.
How long does it take to install a fibreglass pool in Oran Park?
Once approvals are in place, the physical installation of a fibreglass pool typically takes 1–2 weeks on site. Total project timelines — including Camden Council approvals, site preparation and fencing — usually run between 8 and 16 weeks from contract. We'll give you a realistic timeline estimate as part of your free quote consultation.
