Large Pools
Room to Swim. Space to Impress.
If you've got the backyard, a large pool turns it into the centrepiece of your home. Our big fibreglass pools — from 9m up to 11.8m — give you a real swimming corridor, generous shallow zones for the family, and the wow factor for entertaining. Built tough on the Compass Ceramic Core and backed by a lifetime structural warranty.
A Large Pool Is a Lifestyle, Not Just a Pool
On a bigger block, a large pool is the feature your whole outdoor life revolves around. At 9m and beyond, a big fibreglass pool gives you genuine swimming length for laps, wide shallow zones where kids and grandkids can play, and a generous expanse of water that makes a backyard feel like a private resort. It's the pool for families who entertain and want room for everyone.
Our large pools span the Sanctuary, Vogue, Contemporary and X-Trainer shapes — each with the option to add a spa, beach area or sunpod to create a true outdoor living zone. Despite their size, they're still factory-made fibreglass shells, so you get faster installation than concrete, plus the Ceramic Core strength and lifetime structural warranty behind every pool we build.
- True swimming length — 9m–11.8m gives a real corridor for laps as well as play.
- Room for everyone — wide shallow zones and deep ends suit the whole extended family.
- The entertainer's pool — a large pool anchors a resort-style backyard for hosting.
- Add a spa or beach — the space to build a full outdoor living zone around the pool.
- Faster than concrete — even a large fibreglass shell installs quicker, with the Ceramic Core strength built in.

Large Pool Questions — Answered
Everything Sydney homeowners ask us before choosing a large pool.
What counts as a large pool?
We class a large pool as 9m or longer, up to our biggest fibreglass shell at 11.8m. Large pools give you genuine swimming length plus wide shallow zones — ideal for bigger families, entertaining and serious swimming.
Is a fibreglass pool available in large sizes?
Yes. Our largest fibreglass pools reach 11.74m (X-Trainer 11.8) and 10.6m (Sanctuary 10.6). They're still factory-made shells, so you get the strength and fast installation of fibreglass at a generous size.
How much space do I need for a large pool?
A 9m–12m pool suits larger backyards and bigger blocks with good access. We'll assess your space, access and council requirements during a free site inspection and recommend the best large pool for the area.
Can a large pool include a spa and beach area?
Yes — a large pool is the ideal canvas for it. There's room to add a spa, beach entry, sunpod and water features to create a complete resort-style outdoor living zone.
Does a large pool cost more to run?
A bigger pool holds more water, so heating and chemical costs are higher than a small pool — but the Vantage self-cleaning system and energy-efficient equipment help keep running costs manageable. We'll talk you through it.
What warranty comes with a large pool?
Bi-Luminite large pools come with a lifetime structural warranty (transferable up to 25 years), a 10-year enhanced cosmetic warranty, and world-exclusive protection against hydrostatic damage.
See Your Pool Before You Buy
There's no better way to choose a pool than to see one in person. Our 5-pool, award-winning display centre in Smeaton Grange lets you walk around real Compass pools, compare Bi-Luminite and Vivid colours in natural light, and talk through your project with the team — no pressure, no obligation.
